Good luck on not smoking! It took me a while, but I’ve been “smoke free” for about 3.5 years now.

I just listened to the last two podcasts, and enjoyed the environmental sounds in Wyoming. Really felt like I was there when the alarm warning went off.
Some of these things that make your podcast great seem really so obvious (people who like podcasts and music probably like interesting SOUNDs), yet I don’t know anyone else in the podcasting world who does what you do. Other podcasts are just pre-scripted “shows”. From the cats purring to the hail storm, it’s like listening to an old radio drama or something.
Good luck from me on not smoking too! I’ve recently been thinking about trying to quit again myself. Both I and my girlfriend smoke, so it’s a challenge. I only smoke about 3/4 of a pack a day though and it’s really my only vice. And I enjoy it so much. I have always enjoyed smoking… never understood people who smoked but claimed they hated it. To me, there is nothing better than a cigarette and a cup of coffee. Still, I know I need to quit one day. Maybe you will inspire me.

I have one totally random question for you. You can answer it on the podcast if you want: Do you have a favorite season of the year, and, if so, what is it?

Wow that’s some nasty hail! The weather is seriously changing pretty rapidly over the last few years. Just yesterday for me actually it was really cold outside, now today its warm enough to only wear a t-shirt!

Good luck from here on the quitting smoking thing too. Wanna hear something almost freaking eerie? Or at least a damn weird coincidence?
When I was listening the other night at work, as you said you were smoking the last of your cigarettes, I was doing the same thing, LOL. Had about 5 left in my pack, slapped on a patch as soon as I tossed the last one, and haven’t had a smoke in 2 days! The Mrs. is doing the same, and so far so good for both of us. Here’s to all of us having more money in our pockets and better health with which to enjoy it . . . provided we can make it stick.

PS - Totally dig what Jeff Jones said too, and that’s why quitting has always been so hard for me. I truly do ENJOY smoking, but I smoke 2 packs a day and the effects on my health, and my wallet, are just too much to handle these days.

Excellent! Good luck, and strength to you two too.
